Delivery & Returns
We make upgrades, exchanges and returns painless
We offer free ground shipping – always (even to our gamers in HI and AK!). Even when returning a PC Componet to us (e.g. with our Infinite Upgrades® Program or processing an RMA), we will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to send back the component to us free-of-charge.
We ship Monday through Friday using UPS Ground, USPS or Fedex. We do not ship during holidays. We will send you an e-mail when your component has been shipped and the tracking number has been provided by the freight service.
You may request expedited shipping by letting us know when we contact you to confirm your order. The expedited shipping charge must be paid in full prior to shipment.
Extra rates for Expedited Shipping are as follows:
- UPS Next Day Air = $90.00 + $30.00 for each additional component
- Guaranteed 1-2 day shipping. Saturday shipping is not guaranteed.
- UPS 2nd Day Air = $40.00 + $12.50 for each additional component
- Guaranteed 2-3 day shipping. Saturday shipping is not guaranteed.
Signature Required for Delivery
As we do not like to leave items unattended at one’s front door, we do require a signature for delivery. It does not have to be you, just someone at your residence to sign for the package.
If you are unable to sign for it that day, the freight service will leave a notice with the options to redeliver or hold it at the closest customer service center, where you may go to pick it up and sign for the package at that time.
Industry’s Fastest RMA Service
Should your PC Components become defective at any time during your lease, we will get you up and running again within 5 days of receiving your notice about the defective component issue. Compare that to 2-5 weeks from start to finish if you had to do it directly with the manufacturer!
To start the Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) process, simply send us an email to [email protected] or call us Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm CST at (512) 481-2134. We will take you through some troubleshooting steps from our own in-house knowledge base at first. Once we have made the determination with you that the PC Components is defective, we will issue you an RMA authorization number and start processing the RMA request.
At our discretion, we will either send you a replacement component or loaner component for your defective unit. If a replacement component is sent to you, this component will match the manufacturer and part number of the component on your account. If a loaner component is sent to you, this component will either match, be equivalent to, or have a greater performance rating than the component on your account. Either way, we will have you back up and gaming in very little time!
We will also send you the replacement or loaner component first* and give you fourteen (14) calendar days to have the defective component in-transit back to Cutting Edge Gamer. There are exceptions to our ship-first policy, which are outlined below.
(*) – We may ask you to return the defective or loaner component back to us first in these limited scenarios:
- You are a new customer who requests an RMA prior to their second monthly payment,
- You move but are unable to provide a new utility bill to verify your new address,
- You are a customer with a history of past due payments,
- You are a customer who has a poor timely return history (i.e. return shipments placed in-transit outside of the provided 14-day window), or
- Your account shows signs of fraudulent activity.
In these instances, we will send you a prepaid return label first via email, and once we see that the return shipment is in-transit, we will then ship out the replacement or loaner component.
Fourteen (14) Day Return Policy
For returns with our Infinite Upgrades® Program and RMA Process, we allow your fourteen (14) days to have the return component in-transit back to us after receipt of the upgrade, replacement or loaner component depending on your scenario.
Late Fees for Late Returns: Be sure to have the return shipment in-transit back to us within fourteen (14) calendar days as otherwise we will charge your account a Late Fee. The prorated Late Fee is calculated based on the number of days exceeding 14 days, divided by 30, and multiplied by the monthly lease rate of the component being returned.
We make the returns process extremely easy as we include a prepaid shipping label with your shipment. Simply take out the component sent to you, place the return component (and all accessories, if applicable) into the shipping box, slap on the prepaid shipping label and drop it off at the nearest freight service location! We typically provide a prepaid shipping label from UPS; however, a prepaid label from FEDEX or USPS may be provided upon request.
